SUMMARY

As UI/UX Designer, you'll be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into intentional experiences. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and visually appealing features that address our customers' needs. You will use your creativity and eye for design – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great experiences. You'll work cross functionally to deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products. In this role, you will play a role in representing the voice of our customers. You'll translate their needs into user-friendly designs and have a direct impact on the customer's user-experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned).

• Ensure the creation and implementation of customized experiences for the digital user
• Work with eCommerce stakeholders to identify requirements and objectives
• Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, wireframes, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps
• Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior
• Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends
• Perform tests on user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, pricing display, landing pages and banners
• Identify target customer groups and carry out interviews or other types of inquiry to help understand customer needs
• Understand product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• You know how to distill simplicity from complex user requirements.
• You know how to use the tools of the trade and follow industry trends to make recommendations for software/technology.
• You have experience with user research and translating insights from research into your designs.
• You have superb communication skills both when interfacing with customers and when working with your team.
• You are flexible, decisive and you and focus on the needs of the customer.
• You're eager to improve your UI/UX skills.
• You're good at hearing and implementing feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering, required
• 1-3 years of experience in a software engineering, full stack development, or equivalent, required
