What We Are Looking For
We are currently seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our SaaS component, specifically focused on map-centric web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled designer with prior experience in vegetation management software and a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, to gather requirements and conduct research to identify product-market fit for map-centric web applications within the Enerza.io SaaS component.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for efficient user interactions, with a focus on enhancing the user experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts and workflows.
• Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate designs based on user needs and preferences.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UI/UX design.
• Work closely with business analysts to understand user requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes.
• Utilize research findings to inform design decisions and contribute to the overall product strategy.
• Incorporate user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis into the iterative design process.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing map-centric web application designs.
• Expertise in designing intuitive user interfaces and interactive experiences.
• Familiarity with vegetation management software is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
• Knowledge of ESRI and Mapbox is an asset, though not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business analysts and cross-functional teams.
• The ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Located in Canada or the USA.
