Geo Data Intelligence Inc. is a fast-growing tech company that serves K-12 education and related industries. We design and develop software and mobile applications for school districts to manage their day-to-day operations including school bus routing, student tracking, communication, and integration.
Our core products are EZRouting, EZDistrict, FindMySchool, SafeDriver360, DriverTimes, and BusQuest. We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX designer to join our team.
As a UI/UX designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. Your role will involve gathering information from clients, conducting user research, creating wireframes, designing interactive prototypes, testing and collaborating with the development teams to ensure an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and gather information from clients.
- Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics data.
- Use Figma to design and prototype user interfaces and interactions.
- Maintain a consistent and intuitive design system and ensure its proper implementation across different platforms and devices.
- Conduct manual or automated testing of software applications before release to identify defects and ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
- Proficiency in using Figma for designing user interfaces and interactive prototypes.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience gathering information from clients and conducting user research.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
