Duties:


  • Develop, maintain, and extend a deep understanding of your portfolio's product, business objectives, customers, and competition - by conducting or participating in relevant user interviews, competitive analysis, and other design thinking activities.
  • Build Personas, UX Research reports, User Journey maps, or Empathy Maps
  • Develop and deliver high level and detailed user flows, concept diagrams, user interface wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions. 
  • Implement, maintain and follow a design system, emphasizing a systematic way of thinking about design workflows, and it allows a design language to be easily applied.
  • Deliver UX sitemaps, representing the static elements of the software


Skills, Abilities and Requirements:


  • Be an influential team member, deconstructing complex design challenges and transforming them into simple, intuitive solutions. 
  • Ability to independently conduct a wide range of appropriate UX design activities for complex problems such as: user research, strategy and vision development, concept design, detailed design, rapid prototyping, and usability testing. Ability to contribute to planning and prioritization activities. 
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and Miro. 
  • Experience with Mudblazor - UI component library for Blazor UI. Ability to create designs that adhere to UI frameworks to speed up development and avoid custom UIs, plus support replaceability if we were to switch to another UI library later
  • Have a high-level understanding of how designs can be technically implemented by development.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, scope problems, find solutions, implement, and launch. Consistently relied upon to tackle complex problems that heavily impact our product. 
  • Expert-level capability using industry-standard UX and UI design platforms.  
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of the business, vision, and strategy, as well as complex technical requirements, and incorporate them into elegant design solutions.  
  • Decision Making: consistently chooses the best course of action (from a number of alternatives) to address business problems and/or opportunities. 
  • Priority Setting: focuses time/energy on the most important issues/opportunities. Clearly understand how to assess importance of tasks and decisions. 
  • Influence: Asserts own ideas and persuades others, gaining support and commitment and mobilizing people to act. 
  • Negotiation: successfully obtains commitment to a solution or idea, while maintaining integrity and relationships

  • Understanding internal communications best practices 


Education


  • A degree or certificate (or equivalent experience in UX/UI or graphic design)


Experience


  • Minimum 1 year of UI/UX design or graphic design experience.
