Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing to design and execute user-centered designs for our digital platform resulting in a improved user experience.
- Conduct research on user needs and behaviors to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts, solutions and functionality.
- Work with the development team to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of our digital platform, and suggest improvements based on data and user feedback.
- Stay up to date with the latest UX design trends and technologies, leveraging insights and best practices to inform UX initiatives.
- Develop and manage the UX roadmap in partnership with eCommerce.
Key Skills, Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field would be beneficial.
- Strong portfolio of UX design work that demonstrates problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be advantageous.
- Familiar with project management tools such as JIRA would be beneficial.
- Previous experience with Shopify would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
