Job Role:
As a UI/UX Designer, your responsibilities include conducting user research, designing and prototyping the visual aspects of digital (and occasionally non-digital) products and experiences. Your goal is to create a more intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interface for users. Additionally, you collaborate with team members from various disciplines to develop, launch, and refine products. You will closely collaborate with the product team to conceptualize and implement designs that address our product's challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects throughout the product lifecycle, managing multiple product launches
- Conduct user research and usability studies to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business, to solve design challenges
- Take full ownership of your work, ensuring attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Rapidly produce concepts and prototypes, balancing pixel-perfect design with low-fi sketches
- Stay updated on industry best practices for data maintenance and information security
Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of designing consumer-oriented products with a focus on user-friendliness and functionality
- Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and InVision
- Proactive mindset, constantly exploring new concepts and refining designs
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams
- Experience gathering user feedback and validating design choices through research and testing
- Portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work for web and mobile platforms
- Familiarity with Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to capture requirements
