We are seeking a highly motivated and creative UI/UX and Digital Graphics Design Intern to join our team. The intern will primarily be responsible for enhancing the user experience (UI/UX) of our software products through a human-centric design approach. Additionally, the intern will create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations and short/micro videos to effectively communicate product stories and demonstrations. The intern will collaborate closely with our design, development, and marketing teams to deliver impactful and user-centric designs. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing designs that resonate with users.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and project goals.
Apply a human-centric design approach to create user-friendly and intuitive UI/UX designs for software applications, websites, and mobile platforms.
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gain insights and understand user needs and pain points.
Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to visualize and validate design concepts.
Design visually appealing and professional PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex information and tell product stories.
Create short/micro videos to demonstrate product features, benefits, and user interactions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and create visually engaging assets for promotional materials.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in UI/UX design, presentation design, and video editing tools.
Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Graphic Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills, including human-centric design approaches and visually appealing presentations.
Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Lucidchart, or similar software.
Experience in creating visually engaging PowerPoint presentations, incorporating animations, infographics, and storytelling elements.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Understanding of human-centric design principles and methodologies.
Knowledge of user research techniques, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey design concepts and ideas.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva is a plus.
Some experience in designing for web and mobile platforms is desirable.
