Design and build dynamic experiences for Booz Allen Hamilton as a member of the team. Identify policy-compliant design solutions in support of business operations. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to user experience (UX) and create engaging, easy-to-use website experiences that integrate with the project’s website design system. Provide expert web design advice to the organization, frequently interfacing with internal customers to help transform the digital experience. Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to produce on time and on budget while maintaining quality. Facilitate teamwork with clients and members of the content production, DevOps, and creative teams, take direction, and solicit feedback to ensure the best possible product. Demonstrate and present new digital developments to our clients. Highlight new work, explain its value, and field any questions or concerns to ensure client satisfaction. ​

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with designing and developing web applications
  • Experience with modern, sophisticated interaction designs for websites
  • Experience with using visual design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience with working in cross-functional teams to craft digital solutions that meet business objectives and user needs
  • Knowledge of user-centered design processes
  • Ability to develop engaging and user-friendly user interfaces (UI) which conform to best practices and accessibility standards
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Security+ certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working and designing in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Angular or AngularJS, Bootstrap, Material UI, and React
  • Experience with frontend builds using Webpack, Node, and NPM (Node Package Manager)
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques of Responsive Web Designs
  • Knowledge of Section 508 standards
  • Ability to use Git repositories and version control
  • Ability to present mockups updates to the Clairvoyant team and client
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Web Development

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
