Description du poste (Job Description)

We are looking for a Service/UX Designer Intern/Co-op that will work closely with the user experience strategists and researchers on TD's Everyday Advice Journey team. As advocates for the customer and colleague, we will explore opportunities to create world class omni channel experiences that empower our customers on their financial journey with TD's products and services. The successful candidate will be an active contributor, using Human Centred Design / Design Thinking Methodologies and tactics, including activities such as:

• Engaging with end users / customers, colleagues, journey and platform partners to better understanding the needs and workflows of TD customers
• Creating archetypes, experience journey mapping, and service design blueprints
• Supporting workshop activities, including planning, observing, participating in workshops; synthesizing outcomes and findings
• Create visibility and awareness within your journey team, providing a common understanding of who the customer is and what they need to be successful in their journey
• Supporting the creation of artefacts for strategic visions
• Supporting ideation sessions, concept/prototype creation and experience design research
• Supporting secondary research as needed

Exigences du poste (Job Requirements)

TD is looking for someone who takes initiative, is curious and willing to persevere. If you are looking for meaningful projects that are aimed at future experiences, dedicated mentorship, and exposure to all the teams that create great experiences, this is the role for you.
You will need:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in industrial design, interaction design, interactive arts, UX/UI Design or a related field
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles / methodologies and use design thinking to identify unmet needs and find solutions
• Clear and effective visual communications skills in articulating concepts and rationales
• Empathy and a passion for human centered design, collaboration and solving problems
• Proficiency in design tools such Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (or other similar design/prototyping tools)
• Experience with video creation/video editing is an asset
• Experience with video creation/video editing is an asset
• Positive attitude with a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment

• This position is a 4-month work term and will commence September 5th – December 22nd, 2023.
