INTOO is a fast-growing HR technology solutions provider seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and driven Remote Product UI/UX Intern to join our team for the summer of 2023. This individual will ideally have some previous exposure to designing web applications. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and thoughtful design, understand UX/UI development, and possess the ability to work comfortably with product managers as well as front-end developers.

Additional Details:

  • Time Frame: 8-10 weeks temporary, part-time internship beginning approximately on June 12th, 2023.
  • Rate of pay: $18 - $22/hour, depending on experience and skill set.
  • Expected hours: Flexible hours (minimum of 20 hours per week and up to 30 hours per week).
  • Required graduation year: 2024 - 2025.
  • A letter of completion can be provided at the end of the internship for college credit.
  • Preference for candidates in the California area.

Ideal Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Include:

  • Experience or coursework in UX/UI web design, user personas, user journeys, wireframes, and mockups.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI patterns and principles, Photoshop, Illustrator, and mobile responsive design.
  • Experience conducting user research and user testing.
  • Solid conceptualization ability, visual communication, drawing skills & sketchbook technique.
  • Presentation experience.
  • Passionate about thoughtful design solutions and strong attention to detail.
  • Be open to receiving constructive feedback from the team and our stakeholders.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Candidates will be expected to present a portfolio of their work or a collection of work samples.
