Product Research Intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our Product Research team during Favor’s Summer 2023 Internship Program. During this eight-week program, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside your dedicated mentor and building connections with Favor team members.

Our program offers a dynamic opportunity that is designed to provide you with real-world experience to further your knowledge and education. You will have the chance to learn all about the on-demand delivery industry, our company culture, and build your portfolio with tangible work and results.

We believe in providing our interns with exposure to various aspects of the business to help develop a well-rounded skill set. Your responsibilities may include key projects, research, data analysis, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of your team.

What you'll do:

• Work closely with designers and product managers to develop your understanding of the full research process (thinking through problems, validating new ideas, and answering questions through qualitative research)
• Assist with the development of reports that help stakeholders across Favor understand the needs and desires of our users
• Work with cross-disciplinary partners to dig into issues, gather feedback, and help design the right solutions
• Collaborate with product managers and other business leaders to make concrete, research-driven recommendations for change based on your findings
• Moderate tests (both in person and remotely) and share insights to inform future product work
• Coordinate large-scale surveys, analyze results, and share insights
• Analyze large qualitative datasets to gather insights
• Conduct remote, online studies to gauge the usability of existing Favor products and design prototypes

Skills you have:

• This role can help springboard your career in Product and allow you to grow in many different directions. You do not need to have formal product design or research training, but we will ask you to speak to how your background has prepared you for the work you’ll be doing as a member of the Product Research team. Translatable backgrounds that might be successful include: psychology, anthropology, cognitive science, or a similar mix of training and experience that you think will make you successful as a researcher on our team.
