Product Designer Intern

Data Axle is looking for a college level student to work with our Product Design team as an intern. This person will help create the next generation of Big Data solutions for small/medium sized businesses that discover sales leads, track their prospecting and create stunning marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Employ a user-centric design process in the creation of simple user experiences for complex systems.
• Work with engineers to create elegant, functional, pixel-perfect results.
• Design UX/UI touches that make the customer experience feel human, helpful and delightful.
• Understand complex systems, processes and the relationships between people and products.
• Create low and high-fidelity UI prototypes that allow users to walk through a user experience at various points throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with other designers to establish design guidelines, best practices and standards across the company.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a Product Design, Marketing, or related degree program is required.
• 6 to 12 months prior work experience is preferred.
• Portfolio that demonstrates UX and visual skills in digital products.
• Exposure to tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
