Product Designer (Contract)

Goods & Services is looking for a Designer who:

Daydreams in typeface, loses sleep over kerning, inspires through design, thinks in systems and stories, keeps craft at the forefront, finds inspiration in research, plays well with others, moves fast and can execute big ideas, is not afraid to fail better, can name their five favorite album covers without hesitation, seamlessly integrates strategy, user experience, and visual design, leaves their ego at the door, challenges teammates to push their work, makes time for their side hustle, is multi-disciplined and able to lead projects from concept to completion without scuffing their kicks too much.

What You’ll Do

• Work collaboratively with the design team to follow design direction and execute client vision
• Staying aware of the latest industry trends and advancements.
• Iterate and improve design work using feedback from clients, and internal stakeholders
• Work alongside the team to hone design craft, and increase knowledge of project lifecycle
• Contributing to design projects throughout their development lifecycle from concept to completion

What You’ll Need

• Experience working on various projects including designing websites and products, brand identity, advertising/film, environments / big experiential
• Have an understanding of different tech stacks and their associated opportunities or limitations relating to design
• Hold a confident, yet humble and a hustler of culture
• Be an imaginative and creative conceptual thinker and a persuasive storyteller with strong attention to craft

• Exposure to and the ability to work with:
• Figma (Sketch or InVision are nice to have)
• Adobe Suite
• Pitch and/or Keynote
• Aftereffects or other specialty tools are a bonus!
