Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team and drive the design and user experience of the Reframe app. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to translate complex user needs into elegant solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to define product requirements and design solutions that address user needs and business goals.
- Lead the end-to-end design process from concept to implementation, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and facilitate feedback and iteration.
- Design intuitive and visually engaging interfaces for the Reframe app across multiple platforms (iOS, Android) while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and continuously improve the user experience.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and innovation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a product designer, preferably in the mobile app space.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and ability to create visually appealing interfaces.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile environment and iterating based on feedback and data-driven insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, Principle, or Framer.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with gamification principles and behavior change theory.
- Personal interest in health, wellness, or mindfulness.
