Today — along with other independent teams and developers — we continue to support the Zcash community through product development, awareness and adoption, and cutting-edge research initiatives.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and innovative product designer to join our team at ECC and play a critical role in designing UX/UI for our mobile wallet application, Zashi (Android/iOS). They will work very closely with the Product Manager and the Mobile Team to execute the product vision.We are NOT looking for someone to simply maintain the status quo. This designer will be instrumental in working within the Zashi brand to drive huge leaps in UX and UI — creating a beautiful experience, top to bottom, and inspiring joy.This designer will reach a deep understanding of the wallet experience, and help solve usability issues and adoption challenges by inventing creative design solutions that set Zashi apart.Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design UX/UI for the Zashi mobile apps
• Set up and maintain a design system in Figma
• Support Product Manager with wireframing, mockups, and prototypes
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Mobile Team, and Head of Brand
• Contribute to creative team workshops, design sprints, and general ideation.
• Evolve and elevate the current mobile app design based on the brand guidelines
• Collaborate with the Product Manager on user research and user testing
• Engage with the Zashi/Zcash community, and process design feedback from users.
  
  

Qualifications:

• You need a portfolio that shines
• You need a demonstrated experience with and a passion for mobile app UX/UI design.
• You should be proficient in building design systems based on brand guidelines
• You should have experience with multi-platform design, and an understanding of Android/iOS mobile design differences, e.g., Material Design, Swift UI, etc
• Previous experience with building a highly technical product and ability to understand complex technical discussions is a must.
• Previous exposure to cryptocurrencies and wallet development is welcome
• You should have previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• You should also be a big fan of Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design
• You should have at least some experience with user research and user testing
