We are searching for a Product Designer to design, test and iterate on optimal user experiences, user interfaces and persona based workflows.

As a Product Designer, you’ll work on a product team to discover the business challenges our customers face, design valuable and viable solutions, rapidly prototype and test alongside developers and product managers to deliver an exceptional user experience.

The day-to-day activities of theProduct Designer will include:

  • User Experience: Working with the Product team to drive improvements to the user experience and overall usability.
  • Research and discovery: Data steers your work, and you’re able to measure your work’s success. With assistance from the PM, you can run user interviews, conduct usability tests, assess analytics and apply other research methods when appropriate. You can clearly identify the right questions to ask to uncover the opportunity space and interpret metrics to make data-informed decisions.
  • Creating high-quality design: You can create simple, elegant solutions to complex interaction problems. You are comfortable exploring multiple solutions and refining based on feedback before deciding on the best approach. You consider edge cases and document these decisions to help team members understand.
  • Supporting the product vision: You assist PMs and senior designers in bringing larger strategic vision work to life (e.g. by creating mocks, assisting with the design library, and writing specs).
  • Communication: You present complex concepts to stakeholders simply and with confidence. Design decisions are clearly articulated and easy to understand.
  • Leadership: You champion user experience by offering suggestions on how our product and processes can improve and to help implement solutions.

The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications on their resume:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Product or UX Designer with proficiency owning the design process.
  • User-centric approach to design and a mastery of how to apply research insights into design and development of the product experience.
  • Ability to create user flows, journey maps, storyboards and wireframes.
  • Familiarity with design/prototyping tools, such as Figma, FigJam & Dovetail.
  • Familiarity with user testing: test scripts, session facilitation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with user interviews: semi-structured, structured and unstructured
  • Practical experience and understanding of responsive web design and adaptive web design.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to understand users, listen effectively, and articulate why and how their designs will create positive user journeys and outcomes.
  • The ability to explain design and inspire others to understand the value of great user experiences.
  • A collaborative work style and team player.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Having immaculate attention to detail.

Additional qualifications that would be considered strong assets include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Design (or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS companies.
  • General knowledge of enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience with industrial based workflows and knowledge of industrial based user personas is a huge plus.
  • Familiarity or experience with 3D modeling software.

The interview process:

  • Initial phone interview (15-30 min)
  • Interview with product team (30 min)
  • Portfolio presentation to product team (45-60 min)
