What you'll do:

• Work under the guidance of the Principal Product Designer to contribute to the product development of the Proof platform.
• Establish and apply UX/UI guidelines and component styles.
• Assist in maintaining design consistency across the product, ensuring product and engineering adherence to design guidelines.
• Collaborate on the creation of wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• You'll team up with product managers, engineers, and leadership to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• You will have a strong level of ownership over the experience and look & feel of Proof.

What we'll expect you to know on day one:

• A strong portfolio demonstrating your creativity, problem-solving, and design skills across platforms and experiences.
• Experience with Figma, auto-layout, components, and variants.
• Possess a clean and clear visual sensibility and an eye for detail.
• Familiarity with common design challenges and constraints, particularly in designing for desktop and mobile platforms.
• An understanding of how to simplify complex workflows into user-friendly designs & experiences.
• Ability to self-manage, take initiative, and work independently, with the knowledge that you'll have the guidance and mentorship of the Principal Product Designer.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, languages, tools and best practices in design.
• Good communication skills, particularly in raising concerns and issues promptly and clearly.

Great to have, but not required:

• Prior experience in a product design role, especially in a tech or startup environment.
• Familiarity with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Experience or interest in user interface animation or micro-interactions.
