Justworks Labs is focused on exploring new products that complement the Justworks PEO and expand our ability to help all small businesses grow and thrive. We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We build and adjust direction quickly, all while maintaining the high standards of excellence Justworks customers have come to expect. We work in a collaborative, hybrid office doing 3 in-office days a week.

What You Will Work On

• Identify ways to streamline the user experience
• Talk to customers and the support teams to gain empathy for customer problems, needs, and mental models
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to address the needs of our customers iteratively
• Discover new user-friendly experiences by journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping
• Help shape our internal design system with consistency and efficiency in mind
• Wear many hats and dive into problems across the company to help make the best product possible

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience designing web-based applications
• Portfolio that illustrates how you think and work
• Experience designing web-based applications with a focus on complex data collection & displays
• Problem solving skills and an ability to communicate the reasons behind your design decisions
• Fluency in Figma, Sketch and other design tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript a plus

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $127,000 to $156,750 per year.
