  • Internship Duration: Our internships last about 10 weeks, with a start date of May 29th and concluding around August 8th
  • Work Days: Work Monday through Thursday only - no work on Fridays
  • Office Location: Soak in our vibrant atmosphere and join our spirited crew in our 1221 Brickell Ave Office
  • Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Location: Must be based in Miami, FL with no relocation accepted


As a Boats Group intern, you will get to contribute to real product UI/UX strategy and development and conduct pivotable research and usability testing. You will take a hands-on approach and have your voice heard by the rest of the team, including the leaders in UI / UX, Design, Product, and Technology.Over the summer, you'll work on projects, tackle daily tasks, and work collaboratively with our team. In general, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the design UI UX team by:
  • Design of low and high-fidelity mockups to support upcoming product launches
  • Design of working prototypes from wireframes for product teams
  • Participate in usability sessions to understand consumer behavior to improve conversion through UI / UX changes on the websites
  • Learn and support the design and development team through A/B Testing deliveries.
  • Designing wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and polished UI mocks
  • Influence new iconography and test such new designs
  • Follow the lead of the UI / UX team to improve the optimization of CSS elements

We know you're just starting your career. But here are a few things that you should have to succeed in this internship:

  • Strong interest in user interface design and behavior, with a strong understanding of UI and UX
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in UI UX design, Interactive Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Figma. Ideally, you would have spent some time working with it, but if not, you would only need an understanding and strong confidence to learn it quickly
  • Possession of a creative flair, versatility, conceptual and visual ability, and originality

  • Local to Miami: To guarantee a seamless and enriching experience, candidates must be based in Miami, FL. (Relocation not accepted.) Join us in the heart of Miami for an unforgettable journey!
  • Rising Juniors or Seniors: Chart your course with us if you're a rising Junior or Senior, ready to make waves in your professional journey.
