As a Product Design Intern at Navan, you’ll have the opportunity to fly the plane from the start. You’ll solve real, challenging problems from start to finish with the support of a dedicated mentor and manager. You’ll also participate in exclusive leadership lunch & learns, learn from the company in weekly all-hands meetings, and have the opportunity to network with cross-functional teams through our buddy matching program. You’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Navans’ culture through intern and team bonding events, professional development workshops, volunteering activities, and more.

Navan is looking for a product design intern who will be working with future leaders and top performers. This role will allow you to develop skills and learn a playbook that you can use for the rest of your career. Being an intern at Navan gives you the chance to work in touch with all areas of design and shape the employees' experience here.

What You’ll Do:

  • A Product Design intern will collaborate with skilled product designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, and content partners to get feedback and collabarate.
  • Attend weekly design reviews.
  • Turn broad, ambiguous user and business challenges into clear, valuable, and delightful solutions
  • Connect user research and data insights to design decisions at every stage of development
  • Incorporate best practices across multiple platforms and devices
  • Contribute to a design system that supports the design and engineering processes
  • Delivers consistent, polished and balanced layouts, through typography, color and visual hierarchy
  • Solves user problems in creative ways that go beyond obvious, expected solutions
  • Takes initiative and accountability for timelines, deliverables, and outcomes
  • Desires and takes action to grow professional skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • Portfolio that demonstrates abilities in visual design, interaction design, prototyping, and product thinking
  • Familiarity with the user-centered design process
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fall 2023 rising Junior or Senior obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Visual Design, , or a related degree

Remote Opportunity

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.

$49,920—$66,560 USD
