Product Design Intern (Unpaid)

Reel Talk 🎞️ 🗯️, the ultimate movie community app designed exclusively for passionate cinephiles and TV show enthusiasts, is seeking a promising and aspirational product design intern to help kickoff product design work for a design system and a beautiful user interface for the mobile apps. Note that this is a Remote, and Unpaid internship. We aim to make this a very rewarding and productive experience for the right candidate. Our goal is to give you world-class UI/UX experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing responsive mobile and web applications for the company. Using tools like Figma, Notion, etc, this candidate will be able to translate user and product needs into beautiful and functional frontend design.

Responsibilities include:

• Create our core app design for ease-of-use, appeal, and intuitiveness of the different functions
• Creating designs for quick UI tasks that are time-sensitive
• Organize figma for iOS Designs
• Being active on the platform to ensure (when it launches) that it is designed to fit the folks we’re targeting
• Showing initiative as to validating the UI/UX with User Researcher
• Working on providing input to the designers to improve our core app design to increase ease-of-use, design appeal, and intuitiveness of the different functions

Qualifications

• Experience with Figma
• Experience designing User Interfaces for Web and/or Mobile Products for iOS
• Experience designing wireframes and converting them to hifi prototypes
• Availability to work remotely and temporarily in an unpaid capacity for a minimum 15-20 hours/week for up to 4 months
