As a Product Design Intern at Eulerity, you will be involved in every step of the product development process, from brainstorming broad ideas to ensuring design quality through launch. Using your full range of interaction, visual, and product thinking skills, you will help create an experience for our product teams.
As a qualified intern candidate, you have a track record of building projects to successful outcomes for users and businesses. You are a strong cross-functional partner, a great communicator, and can take a solution from idea to implementation. You uphold a high-quality bar and have a strong appreciation for the details. Above all, you approach problems holistically and create elegantly simple solutions to multi-faceted problems.
Responsibilities:
- Problem solve, think big, and explore divergent concepts/ideas while understanding how to converge and build iteratively toward your vision
- Work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams teams
- Execute design work using high-quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and cross-platform interactive prototypes
- Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting to your team, while being able to precisely articulate design rationale
- Inspire the entire team by bringing new ideas to the table and get to shape and iterate on design systems
- Create a unified, end-to-end experience through close collaboration with team members from across the Product Design team
Experience:
- Portfolio required
- Must be based in NYC tri-state region - and able to commute to NYC office 1x week
- Currently pursuing B.S. or M.S. in Design related field (UX, UI, HCI) with at least one additional term of school to complete after the end of this internship, ideally junior or senior
- Able to demonstrate relevant project experience (including coursework, personal project, or internship experience) showing the following:
- UI/UX experience designing for mobile and web applications
- Experience with Figma and prototyping
- Experience working within a design system is a bonus!
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Comfortable iterating based on feedback from design and product teams
- Able to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team
- Excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
