THE TEAM
Universe is a leader in online ticketing for general admission events. We’re constantly innovating with a focus on attractions and exhibits, and are growing our team! We serve some of the biggest names in entertainment across attractions & clubs with operations spanning 15 countries across North America and Europe.
Our global team of over 60 people, we operate as an independent entity within the larger Ticketmaster/Live Nation family. We set our own roadmap and operate a modern tech stack (i.e., Kubernetes, Docker, Flux and more!), all with the financial backing and resources of a Fortune 500 company. THE JOB
As a Product Design Intern, you're passionate about understanding the vision and strategy of the company, translating this UX into all aspects of the product, bringing this to life through high-fidelity UI mockups, and implementing these designs in HTML5/CSS3. You are passionate about contributing to a fresh and consistent style and brand and working with all members of technical and marketing teams to make this a reality.
In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to own a project from concept to completion. In partnership with a Project Management Intern, this role will be responsible for executing a full project plan from ideation, research/discovery phase, business case creation, and problem definition, through to solutioning, collaborating on designs, and preparing for hand-off to one of our development teams.
Throughout this process, you will have opportunities to present your ideas to the wider, cross-functional teams and solicit feedback and input for executing this real-life project plan that could become a reality on our platform.
You’ll accomplish this with a get-it-done attitude and sharp attention to detail. You’ll develop a project plan that will evolve and iterate our platform, helping to bring it to the next level.
