Product Design Intern

What You Will Do

• Contribute actively to the development and refinement of the Visual Lease design system.
• Work closely with the Product Design Team to document and update design guidelines, component libraries, and UI patterns.
• Assist in user research activities, including usability testing, user interviews, analysis, and documentation.
• Collaborate on various projects to enhance Visual Lease users' journey effectiveness.
• Participate in design critiques and R&D discussions.

Skills and Competencies

• Understanding of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrate a passion for resolving user pain points through exceptional design.
• Embrace feedback and constructive criticism.
• Exhibit a passion for UX, design, and innovation, while being eager to learn and share your voice.

Education Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus in design.

Additional Information

• The dates of the internship will take place from January 15th – April 26th (15 weeks). It may extend into the Summer Internship Program depending on performance.
• This role is fully remote.
• An intern is not a full-time employee replacement. The internship is put into place as a learning experience.
• This is a paid internship.
• Interns are only eligible to work a maximum of 28 hours/week.
• Interns are not eligible for PTO time other than accrued sick time based on hours worked.

$18 - $22 an hour
