We’re seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Product Design Intern to join our team for the Summer. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product design while contributing to real-world projects. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about our products and dedicated to improving user experiences.
- This position will be required to work in the Lehi, UT office. Remote candidates will not be accepted at this time.
- Reports to: Director of Product Design
What You Will Own
- Identify and troubleshoot UX issues
- Gather and understand feedback and data as it relates to usage of our app
- Develop and document experiments and A/B tests to improve user experience and ultimately convert users to potential customers
- Design user interface elements
- Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders
- Learn to document technical and business requirements for projects
- Conduct research, UX testing sessions, etc to understand our users and potential customers
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
- Interest in Graphic Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or UX Research
- A strong portfolio showing a track record of using design solutions to satisfy both customer and business needs in a creative way
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience preparing thoughtful questions and executing user interviews
- A strong design to understand Design Operations
- Proficiency in common wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Experience using flow charts to map out customer journeys or UX flows
- Strong grasp of visual design, user experience design, and interaction design principles
