Paid UI/UX Design Intern

Overview:

Siddha One is an innovative health and fitness startup committed to revolutionizing the industry through our diverse range of products and services, including a store, an on-demand video subscription platform, and engaging gamification features. We are seeking a motivated and talented UI/UX Design Intern to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for both websites and mobile applications. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a dynamic startup, build a professional portfolio, receive recommendations, and earn a monthly stipend of $500.

Project Objectives:

• Work alongside our team to create visually appealing and user-friendly web and app interfaces that align with our brand identity and target audience.
• Participate in creating seamless and intuitive user experiences that effectively address user needs and pain points.

Deliverables:

• Support the design team in creating wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes for both platforms.
• Contribute to the creation of high-fidelity prototypes and final visual design assets, including typography, color schemes, and visual elements for both the website and app.
• Assist in usability testing and design iterations based on user feedback for both platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A basic understanding of web and app UI/UX design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with team members.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new design trends and AI technologies.

Time Commitment and Compensation:

This is a paid internship position with a hybrid work arrangement. The intern is required to attend one in-person workday per week at our office in Santa Clara, CA, and participate in two remote meetings. The intern will receive a monthly stipend of $500 for their time and effort. In return, the intern will gain valuable work experience with a startup, build their professional portfolio, and receive recommendations.
