The Role at High Level:

We are looking for a talented Junior UX Writer who doesn’t shy away from tackling hard problems and interesting subjects like payroll and HR technology. This role will be primarily responsible for writing user-friendly UX micro-copy within our product for an optimal customer journey! You’ll take time and care to research our customers and understand their needs to design the right copy for Wagepoint. This role will report directly to our Chief Product Officer.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing effective UX microcopy for our web-app products
• Updating any existing copy on our web-app (big things ahead!)
• Collaborating with our product team to fully understand our products and their offerings in order to deliver the best copy ever.
• Researching our customers and understanding their needs to determine the best way to communicate with them and aid in developing a great user flow.
• Ensuring the Wagepoint brand voice is consistent, easy to understand and helpful across all areas of the product.
• Executing any content updates as we continue to grow our products and our offerings!
• If you are bilingual (a nice to have!) you will be assisting with the translation of english content to french.
• Ad hoc tasks as they come up (as with most small teams, we wear many hats!)

What you bring to the table:

• You have 2+ years of experience writing UX microcopy preferably within a B2B Saas product environment
• You’re a great writer with an eye for detail (we’ll count on you to ensure your i’s are dotted and t’s crossed)
• You have some basic knowledge of development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, etc)
• You have experience using the following tools (Figma, Whimsical, Ditto)
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
• Bilingual in French/English is considered an asset
• Knowledge about the Payroll/HR space is also an asset!
