Fruition is seeking a Junior UX &Visual Designer to help our design team research, plan and design complex digital experiences and compelling websites. Your work will include project discovery, user research, information architecture, wireframing, and high-fidelity mockups for a variety of different clients in different industries. Additionally, you will support both the marketing ,design, and development team in various graphic design requests, including illustrations, animations, print design, web graphics, and various other graphic design requests.
As a Junior UX & Visual Designer, you should have an understanding of the basics of user research methods and how to utilize research data in your design decision process. You should also have an understanding of web design best practices and knowledge of visual/graphics design.

Job Description
- Collaborate with Senior and Lead UX designers to execute complex and simple brochure websites starting with user research all the way through visual design
- Work with Senior and Lead UX designers to facilitate design workshops (in-person or on phone calls) with client teams, helping to figure out business goals and project requirements. Present design deliverables as needed.
- Stay up to date on the latest design trends and UX/UI strategies, as well as their potential impact on website performance
- Identify and integrate best practices and emerging design patterns
- Work closely with technical project managers to meet deadlines and budgets on large projects
- Contribute to design systems for client projects and internal applications.
- Work within budgets and timelines effectively and efficiently
- Present design concepts to clients and team members, with the ability to explain why design choices were made
- Adhere to brand standards and guidelines for many varied clients and verticals
- Bring new ideas to the table and actively contribute to campaign and design strategies
- Prepare files for print which includes working with CMYK and Pantone colors, choosing the best printing technique, material, and finish for a project.
- Support marketing and other team members on internal marketing initiatives
Required Key Skills and Education
- 2+ years of graphic design experience
- Degree in Graphic Design
- Strong visual design skills, including a deep understanding of typography, composition, and use of color.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet set deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience presenting designs/ideas to clients and explaining the thought process used to get to a design solution
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and InDesign
- Bonus for animation and motion graphics skills
- Bonus for illustration skills

Salary Range
- $55,000-$70,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience, skills, education, tenure, and/or training
