Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the UX team to develop and execute user-centered design strategies for our mobile applications and websites
- Collaborate with all departments to gather and analyze user requirements and feedback for on-going releases, new features and prototypes
- Transcribe English language products into Korean language.
- Plan and implement new designs on multiple platforms
- Optimize existing user interface (UI) copy and content
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all design deliverables
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications that align with user needs and business goals
- Conduct ongoing user research, usability testing, and surveys to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Communicate design decisions and progress to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
- Hybrid role based out of Hollywood, CA
- 1-2 years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role
- Native Korean speaker with proficiency in English
- Design portfolio that demonstrates rock-solid visual and interaction design skills
- UX Writing & Content Strategy: Write and edit user interface (UI) copy that is clear, concise, and engaging
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially adobe XD
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and persuade stakeholders
- Ability to discuss and explain design options
- Detail oriented
- Critical thinker
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify user pain points and design solutions that meet their needs
- Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction
Bonus Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- Experience working with Android devices
- Hospitality experience is a plus!
