Telpay Incorporated is the largest independent processor of bill payments in Canada and we are expanding. We are seeking to attract bright, talented, and energetic UX/UI Designers for our Winnipeg location to assist in the development of new products and the growth of our business across Canada.

You will be part of a dynamic, agile Product Management team working closely with Customers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Development Engineers to build, propose and execute modern User Experience flows with the purpose of delighting customers and growing our engagement amongst new product offerings.

Telpay is seeking a Junior User Experience Designer to join our team in Winnipeg. As a Junior UX Designer, you will work closely with our senior staff and cross-functional teams to create intuitive and user-friendly designs for our online payment portal. You will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end UX design process, from conducting user research to creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to identify user needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to define design requirements
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
  • Ensure that designs meet accessibility guidelines and standards
  • Work closely with senior designers to create visually appealing designs that enhance the user experience
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback

Requirements

  • A degree in graphic design, UX design, or a related field.
  • Experience with user research methodologies, including user testing, surveys, and focus groups.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
  • A strong portfolio & Case Studies demonstrating UX design skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A passion for creating user-friendly digital products.
