Flare seeks a junior UI/UX Designer to join a cross-functional product team. In this unique role, you'd take a key part in crafting the new UI design offering a world-class experience that helps cybersecurity teams identify, track and resolve threats and security issues.

What will your typical day look like?
- The mission is to take an active role in the redesign of the user interface for a complex software product with a focus on good UX, so you will need to have an interest in this type of work.
- Under the guidance of our Senior UX/UI Designer, the key task will be to draw and propose UI mockups for our next-gen SaaS platform.
- You’d be using Figma, so you either know it already or are willing to learn it.
- You’ll need to help us develop a UI style guide, so a good understanding of modern UI design is key.
The ideal candidate:
- You have background, training or formal education in graphic design
- You have an interest in the design of modern software products
- You are fluent in Figma and/or Sketch
- You are creative and take initiatives
- You have a portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills
- You have good communication skills
- Flare is a Montreal-based company but we have offices in Toronto and the United States, so fluency in English as a second language is essential.
