CACI is looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer with strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a record of accomplishment in successful project execution and application development.
The UI/UX Designer will be working at CACI’s office in North Charleston. The project is within the Defense Health Readiness Engineering (DHRE) portfolio.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business analyst/requirements team.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps based on user/system requirements.
- Develop UI wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes to demonstrate the look and feel of application.
- Ensure application is designed and developed meeting 508 compliance.
- Ability to demo and present rough drafts and official design solutions to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to style standards and layout adjustments based on industry best practices and customer feedback
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED.
- At least 1 – 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, graphic design, front-end development, etc.
- Must be able to collaborate with technically diverse team.
- Current SECRET level clearance or ability to obtain.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of accessibility design principles for 508 compliance.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environment.
- Ability to liaise between the development team and the customer to establish a common understanding of requirements and design.
- Experience with requirements elicitation and refinement.
- Experience supporting a government department or agency client.
- AS or BS degree in technology related field.
