Junior UX/UI Designer

Are you a junior UX/UI designer with a passion for creating user-friendly and attractive products? If so, Tradeblock might be the perfect place for you. Tradeblock, the top Sneaker Trading platform, is looking for a hungry and ambitious junior UX/UI designer to join our product team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for building UX and UI, prototypes and doing user research. The ideal candidate would have a rich portfolio built as an example of talent. The work doesn't have to be related to the actual product, it can be something you worked on for fun. Requirements:

• 
  2 years of experience, or less depending on portfolio quality

• Proficient in Figma for design and prototyping

• Knowledgeable in design systems and layer hierarchy in design files

• Capable of incorporating feedback from others into your work

• Based in Austin or willing to relocate

• Collaborative team player

• Quick learner with a focus on teamwork

• When applying, you must submit a portfolio that demonstrates mobile-first design skills and aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and marketing team to assess design approaches and refine the scope throughout the design process.

• Clearly convey ideas through written documentation, wireframes, storyboards, flow diagrams, and mockups of varying fidelity.

• Provide and receive constructive feedback to consistently advance the solution, efficiently incorporating user feedback while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Uphold and advocate for UX design best practices in an agile software development organization, while pursuing both visionary big-picture design concepts and implementation-level guidance.

• Provide daily updates to gather feedback and continue iterating.

• Participate in product, scrum and team ceremonies

Nice to haves:

• 
  Associates Degree in Design

• Experience designing ecommerce interfaces

• Basic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills are a plus
