The Role

We're seeking a motivated and talented Junior Graphic Designer to build high impact marketing communication campaigns. As a Junior Graphic Designer at SPAN, you will be responsible for creating and iterating strong visual designs that communicate our marketing communications effectively. You will work closely within Marketing and Creative teams to develop designs that are visually appealing and aligned with our brand identity in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Create graphics, illustrations, and other visual assets for use across multiple platforms in collaboration with our marketing and creative teams
  • Design website layouts, landing pages, presentations, and other digital assets using best practices in UI and UX
  • Produce engaging social media marketing visuals (still images and illustrations)
  • Produce high quality sales enablement materials in Google Slides presentations and Adobe InDesign
  • Work on a variety of design projects, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, posters, and other marketing collateral
  • Ensure that all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and visual identity

Required Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and abilities
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Google Workspace (Docs & Slides)
  • Experience designing for web, social, and digital platforms
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, and composition principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field preferred

The U.S. salary for this position is $100,000. This salary represents SPAN's good faith estimate of competitively-priced salary for the role based on national, real-time industry data from companies of a similar growth stage. The individual pay is determined by location and individual factors including relevant skills, experience and education or training. This salary correlates to the relative level of the candidate we believe we need for the role and may require an adjustment for candidates of a different level.
