Junior Graphic Designer

What’s the job?
Reporting to the Manager, Brand Production, as the Junior Graphic Designer, you are responsible for leading custom design projects from inception to delivery. You have a passion for storytelling through innovative design, love to keep up-to-date on current creative technologies and techniques, are a highly motivated self-starter who flourishes in an ever-evolving business, and bring a highly collaborative enthusiasm to your daily work. You will also support branding projects by coordinating, scheduling, and implementing the production and distribution of marketing collateral, merchandising materials, and some member communication materials.
What you’ll get to do:
Creates custom designs (concept/storyboard to delivery) for brand development, social media content, asset development for promotions and campaigns, internal training documents, and print publications
Develops static and animated HTML/Gif ads for digital media
Produces print design projects, including branch merchandising, collateral, and signage
Develops assets required for emails
Curates of imagery for the website, including photography selection and resizing
Monitors to ensure the brand standard application is applied across all existing assets based on the guidelines
Maintains up-to-date information on the current competitive industry trends and practices
Sustains awareness of contemporary creative technologies and graphic technical skills
Who are we looking for?
Minimum two years program of formal education or equivalent Diploma in graphic, brand, or UX/UI Design.
1 - 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer or in related fields.
Strong concept, design, and collaboration skills
Solid understanding of advertising principles for both digital and print
Excellent typography, illustration, and layout skills
Experience in UX design
Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Highly skilled at applying brand style guidelines
Ability to strategically present design work to stakeholders and serve as a key stakeholder in cross-functional projects to provide a design point of view
Collaboration skills and is a team player.
