About the Position:

Are you a creative, passionate individual looking to make a meaningful impact on the world? Aligned by Design is seeking a Junior Digital Designer to join our team and contribute to our mission-oriented endeavors.


We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Digital Designer with a focus on graphic and web design. The ideal candidate will have a knack for blending aesthetics and functionality to create visually stunning and user-centric designs across various digital platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute designs for web pages, mobile applications, marketing materials, and digital campaigns.
  • Develop visually appealing website layouts, graphics, icons, and user interfaces that align with brand aesthetics and enhance the user experience.
  • Create and optimize graphics for web and digital use, including social media graphics, banners, infographics, and other visual assets.
  • Translate conceptual ideas into engaging and innovative designs while maintaining brand consistency across various digital touchpoints.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate digital design deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience (2+ years) in graphic and web design with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both areas.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and other web design languages to implement designs effectively.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices to create user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and articulate design ideas.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Position Details:

This in-office role is located in Lubbock, Texas. It's a 1099 contract position, requiring 20-25 hours per week. Position compensation is based on experience.
