Junior Art Director

Job Role:

Junior Art Director – Vancouver BC

We are looking for an amazingly talent Junior Art Director who is obsessed with storytelling and design, not only able to visual tell a story but also understand and articulate the strategy behind it.

What we are looking for:

• Vancouver based -  this is a in office, hybrid role.
• Loves, lives and breathes digital design. Social media and digital ads.
• Excited to create, concept and pitch big ideas and campaigns.
• Ability to mentor, up-skill and communicate with a design team.
• Partner with copywriters and designers to create innovative work, with a desire to push the boundaries of the brief.
• Experience in communicating with Creative Directors, Account Managers and Stakeholders.
• Confident to present your ideas and justify your creative decisions internally to the team and externally to clients.
• Someone who is excited by the the future digital landscapes of our industry, Web 3.0, Extended Reality, Metaverse, A.I etc.

Agency experience is preferred but passion trumps everything, we are looking for a Junior AD who can work in a fast paced environment but keep their cool, gets their hands dirty but inspire the people around them and be proud of the work they create.

Blink is looking to grow our creative team for current and new clients who has both digital UX and Campaign experience to work in our Vancouver office Hybrid model with some days in office and some days out.

Desired Hard Skills:

• Digital Web and UX/UI Design Project experience
• Campaign Art Direction experience
• An online portfolio with examples of digital work that is beautifully crafted, intelligently UX'd and conceptually brilliant
• Experience with Design Systems and Asset Management
• Experience launching real brand projects into the world
• A positive and collaborative attitude (not a jerk).
