Job Description

The Jr. Graphic Designer is responsible for the design and production on a variety of projects for all our Brands across the Nation. These projects include, but are not limited to, Print, Digital, Email, Website, Collateral and Out of Home assets. This position works under the creative direction of the Graphic Design Manager to collaborate on projects, maintain the visual brand identity, and design standards for our multiple Groundworks Companies.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Scale and rebrand print materials including publication ads, direct mailers, internal flyers, billboards, etc.
• Scale and rebrand digital graphics, display banners, social graphics, email and web for marketing campaigns and event-specific promotions for all our Groundworks Companies.
• Assists with file organization within our digital asset manager.
• Any other design and creative tasks needed depending on demand.

Basic Qualifications

• Started or completed Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related visual arts programs
• Positive, collaborative team player
• Creative individual who is passionate about design and keeping up with current trends
• Flexible to adjust to new tasks as priorities shift
• Desire to learn and grow within a National Brand
• Have a “go-getter” attitude
• Ability to understand, work well with constructive criticism and feedback and adapt to those needs
• Basic prepress and production knowledge
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud mainly involving:
• o InDesign
• o Illustrator
• o Photoshop
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in Google Web Designer, Adobe Express, Canva or Figma is a plus
• No prior professional experience required. Students are encouraged to apply.
