Latch is seeking a highly creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual content and designs that align with our brand identity and communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides and design system components.
- Maintain Figma libraries for desktop and mobile
- Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.
- Work closely with product engineers and lead designers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
- Report and system progress regularly to key leadership roles and the rest of the organization.
Technical Requirements (it's okay if you don't meet a few of these)
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of mobile-centered UI/UX design projects and a solid understanding of design principles.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong visual design skills, including color theory, typography, and layout.
- Proven experience working on mobile apps (iOS & Android).
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
General requirements
- English proficiency is a must. it's important you can communicate your ideas clearly as you will be interacting with other non-native English-speaking coworkers.
- Work from anywhere, with at least 4 hours overlap with Eastern Time (UTC-4)
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly; there will be many uncertainties and questions that will come up and part of your job will be to do the research, present options, and execute.
