Jr. Graphic Designer

WGI seeks a Jr. Graphic Designer with up to 3 years experience to join the Creative/Marketing Division in the West Palm Beach, FL office.

This position will work directly with the Creative Services Director and other team members to support all company divisions by providing graphics and collateral as needed.

To be successful as a Jr. Graphic Designer, the applicant should have original ideas and a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, a successful Jr. Graphic Designer should be able to create imaginative designs that promote the company's vision and be open to learning more and growing within the department.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and time management. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. This is an on-site, full-time position with possible overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative Services Director and other team members
• Create strong visual layouts and graphics for social media, collateral, and proposals using Adobe Creative Suite programs
• Assist with PowerPoint presentations, as needed
• Maintain company brand standards
• Review all work with a thorough quality control process before submitting
• Keep up to date with current trends in graphic design techniques and software

Qualifications

• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn PowerPoint
• Creative thinker with strong communication and design skills
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and quality-minded
• A talent for creativity and problem-solving
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to learn additional skills and grow within the position and department

Minimum Requirements:

• Up to 3 years of work experience as a graphic designer or a similar role

• Preferred Associate degree in graphic design or related field
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)  

Additional Experience, a Plus:

• Project and event photography
• Image editing experience
• Knowledge of production and preparation of files for printing or willingness to learn
• Experience in any one of these industries is a plus: engineering, construction, survey, landscape architecture, or architectural
