The Role

As an Design Intern at SoFi, you'll be working on a real-world, complex, user-focused problem that impacts millions of people with the intention of shipping a well throughout solution. As a result, you'll be set up to make a tangible, lasting contribution to the company and product. From day to day, you'll collaborate closely with your Design Mentor, a Research Intern, Product Managers, Engineers and key stakeholders to brainstorm, design and champion your work.

At SoFi, we pride ourselves on including our Interns in our normal routines so you have direct exposure to the work and process of our entire Design Organization and larger internal team. You'll have direct access to learn from previous Design Interns who have since joined full time. And, at times, access to SoFi Senior Leadership via access to Intern Program events.

By the end of the experience, it's our goal that you walk away with tangible, meaningful experience working the tech industry and as well as directly applicable work samples of your contributions.

Qualifications

• Will be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program during the 2022-2023 school year.
• Must have less than 12 months of relevant work experience
• Ability to meet deadlines and stick to planned schedules
• Understanding of fundamental Product and/or UX Design
• Passionate about Visual and Motion Design
• Desire to learn & show resiliency in a fast-paced work environment
• Bias for action
• Proven ability to assume a strong sense of responsibility and ownership amidst ambiguity
