About the internship:

We are looking for a Product Design Intern who is passionate about designing user interfaces that are both beautiful and functional. As a Product Design Intern at Vbrick, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to create world-class video management and distribution software that is used by some of the largest companies in the world. You will have the opportunity to impact the way these companies experience video and to work on a product that is at the forefront of video innovation.

This position could work out of our Herndon, VA office a few days a week or be fully remote. If remote, the candidate must reside on the East Coast.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to design user interfaces that are intuitive, engaging, and delightful to use.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate your designs to stakeholders.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Iterate on your designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
• Work with our brand team to ensure that your designs are consistent with our brand guidelines.
• Contribute to the development of our design system and design standards.

What you'll bring:

• Must be an undergraduate student, studying any field.
• Must have a portfolio of some UI work that demonstrates your design skills.
• Proficient with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Some experience designing user interfaces that are both beautiful and functional.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Interest in video technology is a plus, but not required.
