*Nutrisystem is on a hybrid schedule. We are in-office Tuesday-Thursday and remote on Monday and Friday each week*
Position Summary:
As an Interactive Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling advertising that helps drive the brand and drive sales. Working closely with the Associate Creative Director and other team members, you will be responsible for developing strong designs for the website, digital ads, videos, direct mail and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management.
- Deliver high quality visual assets for digital marketing materials and direct mail print designs
- Outstanding ability to work within a predefined brand book and style guide on products such as email blasts, banner ads, from initial exploration through final design deliverables
- Creating, maintaining, and promoting brand and design consistency across all projects
- Maintain timelines and ensure all delivery dates are met and complete
- Provide creative that meets business goals and gives the best user experience
- Translating user and/or business goals into visually impactful marketing assets
- Collaborate with other team members in developing new approaches to complex design problems and conveying ideas in tangible form
- Receive art direction as needed from senior leadership relative to static assets, photo editing, image selection and video production
- Implementing visual designs through collaboration with internal front-end developers and reviewing final product before launch to ensure design integrity has been maintained
- Designing and animating display banners within Google Web Designer or Adobe Animate
- Designing and implementing social media initiatives
- Follow guidelines as needed for campaigns as it relates to lockups, graphics, and motion treatments
- Motion graphics proficiency (After Effects or similar) a plus but not required
- Designing power point presentation slides and print materials
Qualifications (include Education and specific Experience)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiencies in web design techniques and internet production best practices
- Strong creative skills with demonstrated experience designing visually impactful advertising for consumers on the internet
- Outstanding ability to handle and manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High-energy and a passion for doing great design work and dedication to teamwork and collaboration a must
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills and self-motivation
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or related field or Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital first visual design
Computer Skills:
The ideal candidate will be skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Design & After Effects. Experience using Canva, TikTok, Facebook Stories and Instagram Reels a big plus.
