Market America a Global Product Brokerage and Internet Marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking an Intern for our UI-UX Interactive team.
Position Summary
Great opportunity for a graphic design student interested in expanding into interactive media. Candidate will assist in the creation of assets for various retail portals, including static banners, HTML banners, marketing and data-driven email blasts and marketing landing pages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create design concepts that are consistent with branding guidelines and effectively communicate the marketing message through visual and typographical design
- Design original page layouts and participate in the production/coding of landing page designs to be uploaded as part of a broader marketing campaigns.
- Participate in user experience and interface design discussions
- Design marketing and data-driven emails, assist in the production and oversee the transmission through the corporate email marketing platform.
- Collaborates with internal Business Analysts, Business Owners, as an integral part of our Marketing and Creative departments on short- and long-term projects.
- Beginner level understanding of HTML and CSS with a basic understanding of responsive design methods using a mobile-first approach
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Enrollment toward bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interactive Media or related field preferred.
- Minimum entry-level experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Or a combination of equivalent education, experience, and/or training
Skills
- Basic proficiency level of MS Office Products
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- English reading comprehension, speaking, and writing, active listening; critical thinking, complex problem solving, operations analysis, and systems analysis and evaluations
