Twine Freelancers work quickly and efficiently to produce high-quality results. We are looking for a freelance graphic designer for one of the oldest and most recognized American sports equipment manufacturers.


What You’ll Do:


This role will work under managerial direction (Art Director & Project Manager, others as assigned), providing design and creative solutions for the Marketing and Sales needs of the company. Works in a fast-paced, dynamic, creative environment with the ability to multi-task. This individual will communicate and gather information for project approval review processes with internal clients.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Partners with Art Directors, Business Directors, Marketing, Sales, internal designers and outside designers and ad agencies to gather information for layouts and concepts all the way through production phases.
  • Performs a variety of design tasks from start to final production such as logo creation, packaging, point-of-sell, web, mobile & social, motion/animation, product launch events, retail, and brand activations and other specialty projects as assigned by Marketing, Sales, Art Directors and Creative Services Directors.
  • Responsible for the collection and transfer of files for all types of projects with foreign and domestic venders to sample and produce.
  • Coordinates with Project Manager to define specifications for quoting and bidding of various projects within defined design perimeters of project to ensure quality and proper execution.
  • Also provides marketing with cost estimates on a project-by-project basis regarding outside costs involved.
  • Works with Staff Photographer on coordinating and providing product, photo layouts and background concepts for various projects.
  • Coordinates with Staff Copy Writer on providing details, background, layouts and client direction for various projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining the job log for project tracking as well as individual tracking sheets in a timely manner.


Requirements


  • Requires an advanced working knowledge of Macintosh computers and graphics related software. Needs a fundamental working knowledge of photography, photo shoots, separations and printing processes.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, After Effects, and associated design software. Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Basic conventional design and Creative knowledge in a broad array of systems and technologies including industrial design, architecture, and graphic design. abilities a plus.
  • Solid attention to detail with strong organization and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present information, respond to questions and work with the cross-functional teams. Proven ability to work under pressure, be flexible with work hours, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
