Overview
The Graphic Design Intern will gain industry experience by working closely with the Marketing team on curation launches and upcoming campaigns. They will report into the Art Director and Marketing Department. The Intern will receive a letter of recommendation and certification of completion after the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities
- Assist with print assets including but not limited to: in-store signage, postcards, menus, and posters
- Assist with digital assets such as: TV screens, website banners, and Instagram stories
- Editing product imagery in Photoshop
- Support Marketing team on content ideas and brainstorming
- Collecting measurements in store as needed
- Organizing creative files within Google Drive
- Preparing print production files
- Sourcing customized items for events, activations, and promotions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled college student obtaining a degree in Graphic Design
- Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strongly skilled in: typography, following brand guidelines, understanding cultural trends, and photo editing
- Must be available to work remotely 3 days a week (flexible on hourly schedule)
- Must be available to be in office Wednesdays 10am - 1pm
- Flexibility to be available at Showfields Noho and Showfields Brooklyn stores as needed
- Keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills and exceptional communication skills
- Eager to work in a fast paced, young, and creative office with quick-thinking individuals
- Experience in After Effects, Midjourney, and/or Figma is a plus
- Passion for photography is a plus

- Duration - 3 months, now through end of August
