Why you’re here

We are seeking a paid co-op to join our Americas Marketing and Graphics team and support our Americas studio, as well as global graphic design and branding initiatives.

This co-op is 40 hours per week with flexibility. The position will begin in July 2023 and has a duration of six months. To align with this schedule, we recommend that applicants attend a college or university that offers co-op programs, have flexibility with your course load to be able to work up to or close to 40 hours per week or be a recent graduate.

Essential job functions

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to create designs that are graphically compelling and consistent with the Unispace brand
  • Under the direction of our Head of Marketing and Communications, develop graphics and branded materials such as campaign graphics, social media posts, ads, email graphics, branded templates, presentations, interactive microsites, special projects, etc.
  • Provide graphic support to global Graphics and Brand team members.

The ideal candidate will possess the following

  • Graphic Design or related major
  • Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with corporate identity and branding
  • Understanding of UX design
  • Interest or experience in video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Interest or experience in social media campaigns (Canva, Spark)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented

Goals

  • You will gain real world knowledge of the graphic design and marketing processes in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) Industry
  • Hone your graphic design, time management, multi-tasking, and detail-orientation skills
  • Have compelling physical and digital work samples upon completion (as permissible by confidentiality requirements)
