Freelance UX Design Researcher

Talimer’s agency client delivers smart, approachable creative solutions for brands and have done so successfully for over 40 years. They seek a skilled Contract UX Design Researcher to join their team on a project basis. As a UX Design Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research to uncover insights that inform the design and development of user-centered digital experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for understanding user behavior.

Start date: As soon as they find the right person

Duration: 3-4 months (with possible extension)

Location: Remote

Compensation: $45- $55/hour paid bi-weekly as a W2 employee of Talimer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and marketers to understand project goals and user requirements.
• Conduct user research and analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and communicate design concepts.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from team and user testing.
• Ensure designs are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in UX design.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a UX Design Researcher with a strong portfolio showcasing your research projects.
• Proficiency in research methodologies such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
