Our user experience designers perform visual and interaction design, information architecture, and conduct user research to make overall positive experience delivered to users. Job Description

Digital Customer Experience’s Visual Design team is a group of multi-disciplinary designers who take pride in delivering legendary experience to our customers. We relentlessly pursuit to develop personalized, optimized and unified services as the digital environment continues to grow and scale. We are seeking a highly motivated visual designer to join our growing team. If you take ownership of your work, curious, able to work alongside many people and always look into flexing your creative muscle, this is the place for you.

What will you do?

  • Contribute to create compelling experience that meets marketing strategies and business goals
  • Collaborate effectively with other lead VD/UX designers, technical teams and contribute to creating interaction solutions that advocate for the user
  • Provide detailed specifications to UI developers (For both Responsive Web and Mobile Application platforms)
  • Have a wide understanding of technical constraints and include it into your solutions
  • Able to pick up the established UI patterns quickly, and create new effective ones from initial design
  • Advocate for accessibility support in all proposed design solutions
  • Maintain design consistency by leveraging design system and brand guidelines
  • Understands the industry, competition and the factors that differentiate the organization
  • Solicit feedback and assist constructively and effectively at every stage of design review
  • Keep up knowledge of current design trends and continually seek out new and innovative design ideas

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?Must Have:

  • A degree in design or a design-related discipline –graphic design, product design, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in visual design, product design or related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of interaction and UI design
  • Fundamental understanding of design principles and branding
  • Passion for creating simple and stunning visual design solutions
  • Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiences
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate ideas to a diverse audience and constructively integrate feedback
  • Effective communicator and meticulous attention to detail
  • A conceptual thinker with proven problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well in a team environment
  • Proficiency with design tools with Adobe’s Creative Suite and Figma
  • Strong portfolio that showcases your understanding of design
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography in both print and the web/digital mediums
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in handling and developing vector shapes in illustrator

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in the Financial industry is an asset
  • General understanding in Agile Methodologies or experience working in an agile process
  • Skillsets to create high fidelity prototypes, user flow diagrams, and storyboards
  • General understanding of HTML/CSS (able to produce web-ready assets and designs)
  • Fundamental motion graphic design skills and its application knowledge
