Experience Design Intern

WisdomTree, a global ETF and Digital Assets leader and innovator for over 20 years, is on a mission to usher in the next chapter of financial services with our new Digital Assets business unit. Functioning as an internal startup focused on accelerating growth, this business unit expands well beyond the firm’s existing ETF business by leveraging blockchain, crypto, DeFi, and tokenization technology to deliver transparency, choice, value, and accountability to users around the world.

We are looking for an Experience Design Intern to join our growing Digital Assets Product Team and help build our newest consumer venture in the defi space – WisdomTree Prime.  

You will be working directly with our Director of Product to take ideas from inception to reality. You’ll have the chance to explore various facets of the experience design and Defi space like competitive analysis, customer research, graphic design asset creation, design systems, and much more.

Responsibilities

• Partner with our experience team to bring ideas and experiences to life  
• Conduct user research, interviews, and data analysis to identify customer needs, pain points and potential market opportunities  
• Work with Marketing on design elements for marketing materials
• Create reusable design assets that can be utilized across mediums
• Learn, Update, and help build out our design system  

Qualifications

• Able to work EST hours
• A working understanding of the Fintech industry
• A growing interest in cryptocurrency, blockchains, and general Web3 industry trends
• Direct or classroom experience with design tasks such as wireframes/mockups, graphic design, design systems and motion graphics.
• A working understanding how experience design interacts with other disciplines such as Development, legal, etc.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and finding creative ways to move forward  
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
• A willingness to join a tight-knit team and represent our products and services in the broader Defi community  

$20 - $25 an hour

The salary range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, role, company, department, experience and individual performance.
